The modern bride can have wedding planning at her finger tips!  Every detail of your wedding can travel with you everywhere you go!  There are a lot of online resources available to help organize your thoughts, attach pictures, write documents, create checklists and stay on top of ALL of the wedding details, but some sites are better than others!

GonnaGetWed.com – Okay, we are a bit partial, but we created GonnaGetWed.com for this exact purpose!  There are a lot of details to keep track of and there are a lot of national websites you can use to organize.  But the national websites don’t connect you with the local vendors you will be working with.  GonnaGetWed.com is your one-stop for wedding planning and connecting with the photographers, reception site, florist and more right next door.

Pinterest – Who doesn’t love Pinterest?!  Pinterest is an infinite well of new trends, unique ideas, and traditional treasures.  However… you don’t want your wedding day centerpieces to be an epic Pinterest FAIL worthy of Buzzfeed! Generate ideas, try them out, but be ready to shift your plans and hire a professional if you need to.

Instagram – See something you love? Snap a pic and # it! Gather all of your ideas together with your #soontobemr. Also, be sure to share your personal # at your wedding with your guests – you know they will be taking a ton of pictures! Have your guests tag them for double tapping later when you have time!

Planning a wedding is a big task – a really big task!  Using a wedding planner (like the VOW) is a great way to stay on track.  The internet can help you search for and find great ideas, but those “great ideas” may not be right for you or your budget.  Connecting with local talent who can help you is going to be the best thing. Talk with local providers and connect with businesses you can rely on – that’s truly the key to a seamless wedding day.
