On location shoots are a great way to show the personality of you and your groom on your wedding day; and after the ceremony is a perfect time to do that! Between the ceremony and reception, have your photographer follow you. Even just a short amount of time will give you some great images because everyone is always a little more relaxed and ready to have a good time before the reception. Maybe you have a hobby or a spot the two of you frequent often… anything goes! This will not only show who you really are as a couple, but it will add variety to your finished wedding album.
Above are some images that are a perfect example. Chad and Ashley were married last June in Algona, Iowa. Chad, along with his two brothers, are both pilots. One is the way to the reception in a neighboring town, we stopped at the airport where they had the plane waiting and took great images of both the bridal party and the newlyweds – and these were some of their favorite images!
