Every bride wants to make their wedding and reception unique and set apart from others. There are a lot of very simple small touches that can be added to your wedding reception to make it different from other ones you’ve seen. Here are a few tips that are simple but will keep your guests talking for months after.

Wedding Drinks: If you’re having alcohol at your reception, consider matching your drinks to the color scheme of your wedding. You can even take this a step further and add colored sugar to the glass, pretty sugar straws etc. If you’re not having alcohol, a juice bar will surely add some fun to your reception!

Activities: There’s always some down time while the bridal party is taking pictures before the reception. To keep your guests entertained consider having some activities for them to do! You could have a photo booth, a craft table; you can even consider games such as musical chairs, etc.

Use Coasters: Every reception has the pretty color matched napkins, consider taking this a step further and having coasters instead! You can have them designed to match your color schemes and even your invitations. Your guests can even take this home as a memento of your special day!

Name your tables: If you’re assigning your guests their seats at your reception use fun names instead of numbers. You can use words like “love, romantic, flirtatious” or names of the bridal party/close family members. It adds extra sentiment to your reception.
