Every bride wants a bright white smile for her wedding. She also wants her fiancé to have the same. Start with these tips to achieve the brightest, whitest smile!

Brushing your teeth is the number one need to maintain a health, beautiful smile. You should brush two times a day, but it is more important to brush your teeth at night. During the day, you are eating, drinking, and “rinsing” your mouth of cavity bugs. At night, you are resting and these bugs come out to play and do their real damage.

Also always use an ADA approved toothpaste and toothbrush. At Dental Solutions, we recommend Colgate Total, which has an antibacterial agent in it to help fight the bacteria. Remember twice a day with an ADA!

Flossing is one thing most people hate doing, yet it is one of the critical steps in your oral health. Your toothbrush can only clean part of your teeth. The area between your teeth is left untouched by your tooth brush. This is where floss comes into play. Failing to use floss on a daily basis leaves up to 35% of your tooth surface left untouched. You may not be able to see the food particles, bacteria and plaque between your teeth, but it is there. Floss daily to clean out these spaces.
